This site is commentary, criticism and satire on matters of public interest: the economic claims of a prominent public commentator. Statements of opinion are our honest opinions, based on the facts set out and linked on each page.

No allegation of dishonesty

Nothing on this site alleges that Gary Stevenson has acted dishonestly, fraudulently or unlawfully. Where third-party titles use stronger words, those words belong to their authors and we say so. "Whopper" means a large or questionable claim, not a lie.

Estimates

Figures marked as estimates are our own rough calculations from public data. They are not statements of fact about anyone's income or wealth.

Satire

Content on the satire page is fictional and comic. It does not quote Gary Stevenson and should not be read as a statement of fact.
