Privacy and cookies
We don't sell personal information, run ads or use tracking cookies.
Analytics
We count visitors without cookies. Your browser sends us the page address and the site you came from. We work out an anonymous ID from your IP address and browser type, mixed with a random value that we delete at the end of each day, so we can't recognise you from one day to the next. We don't store your IP address or put anything on your device for this. We also record your device type and country, and keep these counts for up to 13 months. The counts are stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this site.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. It is served through Cloudflare, which may set a __cf_bm cookie for bot management. That is a strictly necessary security cookie that does not track you across sites, so under UK GDPR and PECR no consent banner is needed.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process visitor IP addresses and other technical data as part of its service. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Fonts and video thumbnails
Fonts are served from this site. Preview images for YouTube videos load from YouTube's image servers (i.ytimg.com), run by Google, which can see your IP address when they load.
Messages you send us
The contact form is delivered by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which forwards it to us by email. Email sent to [email protected] is forwarded by Cloudflare. We use what you send only to review it, reply where appropriate and keep records relating to the site. We keep correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary, and we never publish a sender's identity without permission unless there is a lawful and compelling reason.
External links
YouTube, X, Reddit, TikTok and other sites we link to have their own privacy and cookie policies.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold about you and ask us to correct or delete it. Use the contact page. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
